HOW TO ADD A VIDEO

Click on Video Management > Add Video Category > Enter Category Name
> Add a Video to the Category > Make the Video Active

Adding a Video.

1) Click on Video Management Plugin

2) Select Add Video Categories

 3) Enter Category Name.

Complete the listed meta tags and add an image and description.

Select which memberships to make the video available to …..

You can leave the upper and lower content blank for now.

Remember to click on “Add Video Category”

4) Add a Video to the Category.

Click on Add Videos……

Remember to select the category from the drop down menu before adding the video.

Complete the requested details, title, author and video heading etc. If you are pointing to a URL, rather than uploading a video file, be sure to include http:// at the start of the URL.

You can set access to the video by date. Choose either a set number of days after registration or a set date. For immediate access set a date before the date of adding the video. (New in v 2.02)

This is the new powerful drip feed feature that allows you to control access of your membership content to your members. For example, you may not want new members to have immediate access to ALL the content you have added to your site. So you can set “Number Of Days After Registration” that a user can access your video.

This will prevent new members joining for one month, downloading all the content and then cancelling.

Or you can add a video and set a date in the future for it’s access. This means you can add future content, set it and forget it and take a long holiday, if you wish. Your membership site will continue to add new content for your members in your absence.

Be sure to click “Add Video”. You will see…

5) Make the Video Active.

If you go into List Videos, you will see that the video is already active. Here you can make active, make inactive or delete any video.

Your video has been added.

    Hi,

I’m trying to add a video, and the plugin reads max size 2mb which I’m afraid is a tad too small for what we are doing. I am an admin – can I change the amount allowed from the backend or does it require going into the cpanel and editing the plugin?

    Thanks,

    Jill

The plugin works as intended, except a small glitch: it doesn’t add the meta title, meta category, meta description, meta keywords and search keywords to the section of the video pages.

    Is this a known bug?
